Advice for veterinary practices regarding services provided by Vet Practice Support (VPS)
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, responsibility for obtaining detailed, informed consent for procedures from pet owners rests with the practice for whom VPS provides services. We strongly advise that you seek consent for clipping of hair prior to ultrasonography and for any other interventions which are likely to be necessary in the course of treatment (including blood sampling, urine sampling, biopsy and centesis procedures).
